Individual Health Insurance and Personal Health Insurance in and around Angola, Auburn, Bluffton, Fort Wayne, Huntington, and Kendallville, IN
Most of us would prefer that our employer provide group health insurance coverage, but sometimes this is not possible. We hope you will be pleasantly surprised with the variety and affordability of the individual and family health insurance options we offer.
Some of the most common family and individual health insurance plans are:
- Health Maintenance Organization (HMOs). These are some of the most affordable health insurance plans available, and they offer comprehensive coverage. HMOs generate networks of doctors, hospitals and other care providers that consist of thousands of health care professionals. This ensures convenient medical care that can be accessed when you need it.
- Preferred Provider Organization (PPOs). These are affordable individual health insurance plans with an added benefit of getting coverage with any health care provider. This works just like an HMO, but allows you to see any doctor or other health care professional that you want, and your plan will cover it.
- Health Savings Account (HSA). This coverage has two parts; a QHDHP (Qualified High Deductible Health Plan) and a HSA. The QHDHP high-deductible plan provides extensive coverage with low monthly premiums. An HSA is a tax-favored account that you may fund up to annual limits, and use for qualified medical expenses for you and your eligible dependents.
- Fee For Services Plans (FFS). This is the traditional form of individual health insurance in Indiana and works very simply. With this you get the care you need, then are compensated for a percentage of the cost.
