Understanding a bit about Medicare is a good starting point. Medicare is generally available to citizens who are turning 65 or older. People under 65 can qualify if they have been receiving SSDI checks for more than 24 months. Medicare is divided into 4 categories

  • Part A – Hospital Insurance – this covers any services that you might receive at an inpatient center, such as a hospital, nursing facility, hospice or even home care
  • Part B – Medical Insurance – Part B covers your doctor’s visits, outpatient care and some preventative treatments
