Medicare is the federal health insurance program that covers most people age 65 and older. Some younger people who are disabled or who have End-Stage Renal Disease (permanent kidney failure) are also eligible for coverage.

Filling out individual employee insurance applications can be long and tedious. That’s why Health Insurance Shop, Inc. offers FormFire. FormFire is an online, interactive interview that collects information that is stored securely and is HIPAA compliant. The information can be submitted to a number of health insurance companies on this private and secure system, with no software to install or maintain.

Healthcare Reform:

On March 23, 2010, President Obama signed into law the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act, which we call Healthcare Reform. This legislation, along with the Health Care and Education Reconciliation Act of 2010, makes sweeping changes to the U.S. healthcare system.
